Terms of Service
Last updated 8 November 2026
These terms apply when you use Acadika. Acadika is operated by Acadika AI, India. By using Acadika you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
Who may use Acadika
Acadika is for schools. A school signs up and agrees to these terms. The school's staff, students, parents and guardians then use Acadika under that school's account. If you use Acadika through a school, the school decides who gets access and what role they have. Students under 18 may use Acadika only through their school, which is responsible for getting verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian.
The person who signs up a school must have the authority to do so for that school.
Accounts and access codes
- Give correct information when you create or use an account.
- Keep your password, sign-in method and any access or reset codes private.
- Do not share your account. Tell your school and us if you think someone else used it.
- You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- School admins are responsible for the accounts and roles they create.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Try to see or change another school's data, or any data you are not allowed to access.
- Upload content you have no right to use, or content that is unlawful, harmful or abusive.
- Use the AI features to produce harmful, deceptive or abusive content, or to try to get around their limits.
- Probe, scan or attack the service, or interfere with how it works.
- Send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, or ignore a STOP request.
- Resell or copy the service without our written permission.
Schools must have permission to put student, parent and staff data into Acadika, and to contact guardians by WhatsApp, email or phone. We may limit or suspend access that breaks these rules.
Your content
You and your school keep ownership of the content you put into Acadika. You give us permission to store, process and display it so we can provide the service, including sending the needed parts to AI and messaging providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
Fees and payments
Acadika offers school subscription plans. Current prices are on our pricing page. Plans are invoiced once a year by default, and GST and other applicable taxes are extra. Monthly billing can be negotiated, especially for schools that are new to Acadika. The plan, price and billing period agreed with each school are set out in its order form or invoice. Some features are available only on certain plans. We may change plans and prices with notice; a change applies from the school's next billing period.
Acadika subscription charges are not refundable.
Families pay school fees directly to the school, for example through the school's own UPI details. The school sets the fees and receives the money. Acadika does not collect, hold or refund school fees. Questions about the amount of a fee, a discount, a refund or a dispute go to the school.
AI output needs human review
Acadika uses AI to answer questions, draft text and help with school tasks. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. A person must check it before relying on it, especially for grades, fees, messages to families and anything that affects a student. Nova may propose an action, but nothing is saved or sent until a person confirms it. The person who confirms is responsible for that action.
Availability
Acadika is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, pause or remove features. Third-party services we use, such as WhatsApp or payment providers, may also be unavailable.
Ending your use
A school can stop using Acadika at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if we have to by law. A school can ask for an export of its data at any time while it uses Acadika and for 30 days after it leaves. We provide exports in common formats such as CSV. We delete a school's data within 90 days of it leaving, except records we must keep by law, and backups are deleted automatically after 7 days. Write to [email protected] to make a request.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Acadika is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for all claims relating to Acadika is limited to the subscription fees the school paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make important changes, we will email school admins at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using Acadika after a change, you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, both sides will first try to resolve it in good faith for 30 days before taking any other step.
